WORK VISAS


SKILLED WORKER

A Skilled Worker visa permits you to travel to the UK and work for an approved company in a qualifying job.

The Tier 2 (General) work visa has been replaced by this one.

Eligibility;

To be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa, you must meet the following requirements:

Work for a UK employer who has received Home Office approval.

Have a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ from your business detailing the position you’ve been given in the United Kingdom.

Work in one of the qualified vocations on the list.

You will be paid a minimum wage, which will vary depending on the sort of work you accomplish.

Before you apply for your visa, you must have a verified employment offer.

HEATH AND CARE

A Health and Care Worker visa allows healthcare professionals to work for the NHS, an NHS supplier, or in adult social care in the United Kingdom.

To be eligible for a Health and Care Worker visa, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a licenced doctor, nurse, health care provider, or adult social worker.

Work in a health or social care position that qualifies.

Employ yourself for a UK company that has been approved by the Home Office.

Have a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ from your business detailing the role you’ve been offered in the United Kingdom.

You will be paid a minimum wage, which will vary depending on the type of work you accomplish.

SENIOR OR SPECIALIST

A Senior or Specialist Worker visa allows you to go to or stay in the United Kingdom to work in a qualifying position at your company’s UK branch.

The Intra-company Transfer visa, which was previously known as the Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) Long-term Staff visa, has been replaced by this one.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Senior or Specialist Worker visa, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a current employee of a sponsoring organisation that has been approved by the Home Office.

Have your employer provide you with a “certificate of sponsorship” detailing the work you will be doing in the UK.

Work in one of the qualified vocations on the list.

Earn a minimum of £42,400 every year.

MINISTER OF RELIGION

If you meet the following criteria, you can apply for a Minister of Religion visa (T2):

You’ve been offered a position in a faith community in the United Kingdom (for example, as a minister of religion, missionary, or member of a religious order).

You also match the other eligibility criteria.

To apply to live in the UK, you must be employed by a licenced sponsor.

Your sponsor verifies that you are capable of performing the work and that it qualifies you for a visa. They’ll offer you a sponsorship certificate to prove it.

They must also provide you with any further information you require when you apply, such as the amount of money you will be paid.

INTERNATIONAL SPORTSPERSON

If all of the following apply, you can apply for an International Sportsperson visa:

You’re a world-class athlete or qualified coach who has been recognised by your sport’s governing organisation as being at the pinnacle of your profession on a global scale.

Your application has been approved by the governing organisation of your sport.

Your job will help your sport develop at the highest level in the United Kingdom.

The Sportsperson (T2) visa and the sporting portion of the Temporary Worker – Creative and Sporting visa have been replaced by this visa (T5).

Your employer is your sponsor. They’ll give you a sponsorship certificate to verify they’re supporting you.
